Buck Wilmington wallpaper


The first of in a series of 'wallpapers' portraying the men of The Magnificent Seven. Like many of my pics I did not sit down with an theme prepared in mind. I was simply browsing my image collection when inspiration struck. When most people think of the character of Buck Wilmington they visualise the laughing scoundrel but one of my favourite pics of Buck is a scene from the series' post pilot episode.
Coming to the aid of the other members he rides onto the scene, tall in the saddle and rifle at ready. This became the base image for the picture and kinda set the precedent for the rest of the pics - namely choosing one image that I felt defined the character in some way. In this case it is Buck as the steadfast protector.
